Situated on a steeply sloping site in the West Hills of Portland, this 7000 s.f. single family residence commands a 280 degree sweeping view of the city, as well as the Cascade Mountain range beyond. The two story house contains two bedrooms, living, dining, kitchen, study, exercise rooms, as well as a large wine room, and a 60 foot lap pool. The shape of the floor plan is in direct response to capturing the view beyond. Exterior materials consist of exposed poured in place concrete walls, and stucco with stainless steel railings and granite cobble at the entry drive. Like the exterior, interior finishes have been kept to a minimum consisting of smooth drywall, maple hardwood floors, and stainless steel railings.
