Inspired by the contextual urban fabric in downtown Portland, Fox Tower is rendered and articulated with a sense of scale that is both comfortably familiar and ultimately timeless. The design of the street level incorporates the desire of both the city and the owner for accessibility and visual exposure. The street level is punctuated with frequent entrances, allowing pedestrians to filter easily into and out of the retail, theatre, and office lobby spaces. Extensive glazing at all levels of the tower create open vistas to and from the building, enhancing the exterior façade and creating a friendlier daylit internal environment.
