Transforming an existing, multi-tenant utility building into a workplace environment that aligns with Nike’s design-centric culture.

Located in a corporate park just south of the main Nike World Headquarters, TVA created a vibrant and creative environment for the company’s Essential Services Group, including Nike Legal, Nike World Finance, and Information Technologies. For this campus, Nike was not just looking to refresh the look of these buildings, but to refresh the way that user groups work.

Through careful consideration of building systems design, as well as increasing natural daylighting and connections to the outdoors, the new office environments support new innovative work styles. Collaboration zones, formal and informal conference areas, and touchdown spaces for mobile work create a visually interesting space that mixes the need for private and shared workspaces. With low partition walls and clear circulation corridors, flexibility to adapt to changing departmental functions was critical. A neutral palette of finishes, highlighted with vibrant, brand influenced color and graphics, create a platform for the activated workplace.
