Beginning with our first collaboration in 2002, TVA has helped develop Umpqua Bank’s progressive banking vision in over two dozen branch banks and corporate banking centers in Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada, and Idaho.

For Umpqua Bank’s newest corporate banking offices in Los Angeles, the challenge was to create an upscale environment to service the bank’s larger accounts yet retain the same unique environment established in their retail settings. Located on one of the 44th floor of the AON Center in downtown, views to the Pacific Ocean and iconic Hollywood sign were maximized by reducing solid walls for glass partitions. The branded components that reflect Umpqua Bank’s overarching goal to challenge what a corporate bank looks like, are prominently focused. These elements, the phone booth, the lounge, the coffee bar, are hallmarks of the brand that reflect how the bank operates and how it interacts with the community. However, the traditional palette found in the Pacific Northwest locations evolved slightly to be more reflective of the California setting, and to align with the local market.
