Nike | Asian Corporate Headquarters
Situated on a repurposed airfield that makes it one of the first brownfield developments in Shanghai, the campus is adjacent to a 33-acre ecological park reserve.
Looking to unite its Asia operations after doing business in China for over 30 years, Nike wished to create a new headquarters that took East/West collaboration to the next level. The Nike Shanghai Headquarters is a new multi-building campus for Nike’s research and development efforts in Asia, designed to support Nike’s long-term business growth strategy in China. To highlight to the region what is possible through sustainable practices, Nike chose to create a ‘green’ community.
The campus consists of three office buildings and a five-story, 240,000 square foot multi-purpose conference center. Along with the commercial buildings, it features a soccer pitch, regulation size indoor basketball court, and state-of-the art fitness facility. The campus houses a full-service food and beverage facility and a stand-alone conference center to host large-scale events and product unveilings.
